What’s In a Name?

Especially a name people struggle to pronounce.

Yes—we get questions about our agency name. We’ve even had folks recommend we change our name because it’s challenging for them to pronounce. 😳 Bless their hearts. 😁

There’s a reason we named our storytelling agency PERIPHERAL VIEW MEDIA.

We don’t believe all the best stories are the ones right in front of our eyes. We realize that some of the most profound and compelling information lies on the periphery.

Our peripheral view is also what gives us our advantage, our edge.

Take Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes, for example. He is the best of the best for many reasons, namely, his talent. But one of his most significant advantages is that he can see the entire field—relying on his keen use of his “side vision”—his peripheral view.

Our “side vision” plays a crucial role in our overall visual perception and has remarkable capabilities that make it a powerful asset for how we experience the world. Our peripheral vision expands our awareness and enhances what lies before us.

At Peripheral View Media, we excel at telling stories from unique perspectives. We fill in gaps that otherwise exist when you only see things from a myopic front-facing focus.

What stories could your brand tell if you focused on something other than the obvious?
